MediCore Clinic UK offers private video consultations by appointment, expanding accessibility to affordable GP services for all. This service is designed to be a convenient option for individuals who cannot visit the clinic in person or require medical advice that does not necessitate an in-person doctor visit.

Video consultations are particularly valuable when seeking health information, potentially diagnosing certain health issues, and sometimes even initiating treatment.

Please refrain from using Video Consultations in cases of urgent or emergency health problems. Video Consultations should never be utilised in the event of a medical emergency, such as chest pain, breathlessness, stroke, or severe abdominal pains. If you suspect an urgent or emergency health issue, it is crucial to dial 999 immediately or seek alternative emergency medical services.

MediCore Clinic UK LTD is a registered company in England (company number 13968574). We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission ("CQC"), under registration: 1-17707727762, an independent regulator overseeing health and social care services in England, including GP practices.

All our doctors are experienced general practitioners registered with the UK General Medical Council.

We will make every reasonable effort to connect you with our Doctors, taking into account minimum specification requirements. Supported browsers include: Chrome, Safari, iOS Safari 11.2 and above, Firefox, Edge, and Samsung Internet. Please be aware that Internet Explorer is not supported for video services.

To use our video consultation services, an active Internet connection with a minimum of 2 Mbps of available bandwidth is required. For optimal quality, we recommend a minimum of 5 Mbps of available bandwidth.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology and computer programs to access our service, and it is advisable to use your own virus protection software.

To access our services, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old and possess the legal right, capacity, and ability to accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

When booking an appointment, you must provide accurate information, including your name, postal address, Photo ID, NHS Number, date of birth, mobile phone number, email address, and password. You must present your ID at the time of booking and during the video consultation for confirmation purposes.

Children under 18 must have their parent or guardian book the appointment using the parent's details and provide the Doctor with photograph ID and birth certificate. They must also confirm permission for the child to consult with the Doctor.

During your consultation, we may request photo identification to verify who you are. This will always be necessary when scheduling a consultation for someone under the age of 18. Failure to provide this identification may result in our inability to provide any services.

Our consultations are scheduled in 15-minute appointment slots. The minimum purchase is a full 15-minute appointment; individual minutes cannot be purchased separately. Using any portion of a 15-minute appointment incurs the same charge for the entire duration.

If you begin your appointment late, it is generally not possible to exceed the 15-minute appointment duration. We reserve the right to conclude the video consultation when the 15-minute time period has elapsed.

If you require more than 15 minutes, please book a 30-minute appointment when making your reservation. Booking a 30-minute session entails no refund if you do not utilise the full 30 minutes.

We offer an online booking system via our website, with appointments available for booking at a minimum of 60 minutes in advance. Upon booking your appointment, you will receive confirmation via email.

There is no guarantee of receiving a prescription for any medication. The decision to issue a prescription lies solely with your Doctor during the current consultation.

The cost of a private prescription is not included in the consultation fee. All prices will be charged according to the prices mentioned on the website.

Private prescriptions from MediCore Clinic UK are not NHS prescriptions. You have the choice to fulfil private prescriptions at a pharmacy, with the cost determined by the fulfilling pharmacy.

Prescriptions like HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and oral contraception may need an up-to-date blood pressure check, weight and height (BMI check). As this is a remote service, we expect you to have these vital measurements available for your consultation.

Certain medicines, such as controlled medications (Schedule 1, 2, 3 & 4), medications requiring specialist prescribing and monitoring, and injectable medications (except for life-saving purposes), will not be prescribed by Doctors under any circumstances.

A fee, as per the current rates, will be charged for a Letter, including referral letters. These letters are typically limited to two (2) A4 single-sided pages.

We can facilitate referrals to private providers when medically and ethically appropriate. The decision to refer rests entirely with the Doctor you are consulting with.

As a private GP provider, MediCore Clinic UK does not have the capability to directly refer to NHS specialists or services. However, our Doctors are willing to provide you with a letter for your NHS GP summarising the discussion and any recommended referrals.

A fee will be charged for a sick note, which may not exceed one (1) A4 letter single-sided page in length.

Prescriptions, letters, and sick notes can only be purchased during a live session with a Doctor.

Service costs will be collected from the debit/credit card used to book your appointment after discussion and agreement with you.

A consultation with a Doctor lasts fifteen (15) minutes, and the costs are displayed on the website and booking system. These costs will be debited from your card during the booking process.

Extending your consultation beyond 15 minutes is generally not possible. If you require more time, you will need to book another appointment.

Charges for additional services like letters, sick notes, referrals, and prescriptions can only be accepted during a live session with a Doctor.

Standard delivery involves sending items by Royal Mail first class post to UK mainland addresses only.

You are allowed to join the scheduled consultation up to one (1) minute before its designated end time.

Cancellation of a booking can be done by following the cancellation link provided in the email confirmation received upon appointment booking.

If you cancel your appointment 48 hours or more before its start time, you will benefit from FREE CANCELLATION, and no cancellation fee will be incurred.

If you cancel within 24 hours, it will be considered a missed appointment, and you will be liable for the cancellation fee.

If a Missed Appointment occurs because a Doctor did not attend your appointment on time, we will refund the charge made on your debit/credit card at the time of your booking.

The Doctor will create a record of your consultation. If you wish to obtain a copy of your medical records, please request this from your Doctor, and they will securely share them with you.

We have the discretion of recording audio of the consultation for monitoring and training purposes. This will be stored under the Data Protection Act.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge your understanding of, and commitment to comply with, our Patient Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms and Conditions by reference.

Recording any part of a consultation via the service is prohibited, as it constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions and a violation of data protection laws.

MediCore Clinic UK does not guarantee that a video consultation is the best approach for seeking advice. If the Doctor believes that a face-to-face consultation is more appropriate, they will advise you accordingly.
